RFP Snapshot processed 15 new federal opportunities from October 12 through October 18, 2026, up from 14 the week before. The mix tilted back toward live work: 6 solicitations, double last week's 3, against 8 RFIs and 1 Sources Sought. FY2027 is still running on a continuing resolution through December 11.
First, the deadlines are tight. The Coast Guard Museum staffing RFP closes tomorrow, October 20, and 5 open opportunities close by Friday, October 23. One more, the Navy's NRMD PLC Modernization RFI, closed October 16 before this roundup published.
Second, OASIS+ is spreading beyond the SB pools. 12 of 15 ran through OASIS+, after 11 of 14 last week. Eight sit in the SB pools, but this week also brought an Unrestricted RFP, an SDVOSB-domain RFP, an 8(a) task order, and a CENTCOM RFI issued to both Unrestricted and SB holders. The other three came through SeaPort-NxG, GSA MAS, and no named vehicle. Our marquee is HHS ACF's ORR Case Coordination Services RFP, the week's only full-and-open solicitation.
Still open from last week's roundup: the Navy SSP executive support RFP (OASIS+ 8(a), due November 2), State's Passport Services HQ Staffing (100% WOSB, due October 30), and the DHS FOIA, DHS Recruitment Strategist, and DIA Mission Services RFIs (all due October 21).

Triage by document type. Six are live. The Coast Guard Museum RFP (small business, OASIS+ SB) closes tomorrow, so make that call today. HHS ACF's ORR case coordination (full and open, OASIS+ Unrestricted) is due October 26. The other four land in November: the Coast Guard National Maritime Center (100% SDVOSB, November 10), then the Navy's PMASS on SeaPort-NxG, AFCENT's IJSTO on OASIS+ 8(a), and Carlisle Barracks admin services, all 8(a) and all due November 16. If you need a fast read, here is how to rip through a government RFP in under 10 minutes.
Treat the RFIs as shaping, not paperwork. Nine of the 15 are RFIs or Sources Sought. Army ATLAS, ICE financial reporting, and DHS FPS East Zone are explicitly open to small and other-than-small, so a credible small business response is what keeps them small. The NAICS is still in play on four: CENTCOM's IDEAS names none, REDCON II marks 541330 as proposed, and DIGS and ICE each float two codes in their MRAS surveys.
Mind the calendar. One closes tomorrow, two on October 22, two on October 23, and three on October 26. Several are won on named people (IJSTO's cleared bench, the National Maritime Center's technical staff, ORR's case coordinators), so line up talent early with our Recruiter Accelerator and run the pursuit through the Proposal Kickoff Accelerator.
The throughline is still OASIS+, and this week it reached the Unrestricted, SDVOSB, and 8(a) lanes, not just the SB pools. Five of the 15 touch the GSA Schedule (one MAS-only, four dual-listed with OASIS+), so check which federal contract vehicles you hold before you write, and see our guide to OASIS+ task-order triage.
